What You Need to Know Before Getting Started

Do I need a full design package, or can I just get advice on one thing?

You don't need to commit to a large project to work with us. Our In-Home Design Chat is a one-hour consultation where you can ask questions about any part of your home. It's ideal if you just want guidance on paint colours, furniture arrangement, or a single room. We offer packages at different levels depending on your needs and budget.

What's the difference between your Small Package and Large Package consultations?

The Small Package is best for one room or a focused update. You'll get a one-hour consultation plus a written summary with ideas and inspiration photos. The Large Package is suited to bigger projects involving multiple rooms or in-depth renovations. It includes a two-hour consultation and a visual design board to guide your direction.

Can I get design help if I live outside Melfort?

Yes. Our Virtual Design Consultation is available via WhatsApp or FaceTime, so distance isn't a barrier. For in-person consultations, we charge travel fees for locations outside Melfort. We're happy to work with clients across northeastern Saskatchewan and beyond.

How do I know which flooring type is right for my space?

It really depends on your lifestyle and what's important to you. Hardwood floors are natural and show wear and tear but feel very upscale. Vinyl plank is a great waterproof option that feels a bit softer underfoot and can be put in every room of the house. Laminate is a great option if you have children and pets because it is the most durable surface of all the options. With our waterproof laminate, you don't even have to worry about moisture anymore. Our team can walk you through the options and help determine which suits your needs and priorities.

Do you install the flooring you sell?

Yes. Every flooring product we carry comes with the option for professional installation by our team. Proper installation ensures your floors look great and hold up over time. We handle prep work, installation, and finishing so you don't have to coordinate with separate contractors.

How long does flooring installation take?

Timelines vary depending on the size of the space and the product. For a specific estimate, contact us with details about your project. We'll give you an estimated timeline once we understand the scope. We'd love to work with you.

Can I see products in person before I buy?

Absolutely. That's exactly what our Melfort showroom is for. You can see and touch flooring samples, cabinetry styles, countertop materials, tile options, and more before making any decisions. It's much easier to visualize how things will look together when you can compare them side by side.

Do you offer installation for all the products you sell?

Yes. We provide installation services for flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, and other finishing products. This means you can purchase materials and arrange installation through us without juggling multiple contractors.
